Since Oct. 2003 Research collaborator at the Institute for Aero-Gas Dynamics at the University of Stuttgart

Model flying sport since about 1990, but started with boats and cars
Gathered first competition experiences in model flying in 1999 at smaller competitions in Dresden
Takes regularly part in model flying competitions of the classes FAI F3B and F3F since 2001; moreover F3K. Does a bit of paragliding for relaxation.
Since 2007 Honorary Member of the model flying Sportclub TU Dresden e.V.
Member of Modellbau AG Penig and Akamodell Stuttgart

F3B single Vice-World Champion 2005 and 2007
F3B Team World Champion 2005 and 2007
F3B German champion in 2004 and 2006 (second place 2008) 2003, 2005 and 2007 third place)
Various wins in major international F3B competitions
Winner of the Viking Race F3F 2006, third in 2004
German vice-champion F3F in 2005 and 2007 as well as team champion in these years
